Critical Approaches to Indigenous Relationality
CAIR is a new initiative hosted by the Prairie Indigenous Relationality Network (PIRN). Over the course of the next few years (2024-2031), CAIR intends to bring together a strong network of scholars, organizations and community partners to explore the concept of Indigenous relationality in relation to knowledges in society By looking at Indigenous relationality in a breadth of Indigenous traditions and overlapping connections, CAIR hopes to respond to questions of how we might exist in relation to one another, to non-human entities, and to the living earth in generative and sustainable ways. This is of continued importance as humanity faces unprecedented crises at both local and global scales.

Overarching research question: What contribution does Indigenous relationality make towards knowledges and societies?
