Project Description

This research will build a repository of Indigenous research ethics models and practices across Canada that uphold OCAP (ownership, control, access, and possession of Indigenous knowledge) and CARE (collective benefit, authority to control, responsibility, and ethics) principles. The overarching goal is to explore a prairie Indigenous research ethics process with wise practices in which Indigenous nations would retain ownership and authority over their data.
