This project includes the creation of a physical, interdisciplinary lab, classroom, and meeting space. The space will challenge the science research ecosystem at the UofA by focusing on Indigenous critiques of AI and science governance, systems which have traditionally been anti-relational. These critical assessments will inform transformational governance approaches toward the decolonization of science and technology broadly.
