Project Description

Nearly 25 years ago, the edited collection Political Theory and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples was published, surveying the role of political theory in colonization and the potential resources of political theory for decolonization. Since then, political theory’s engagement with Indigeneity and settler colonialism has blossomed. This project will host a multi-day gathering to discuss the present state of Indigeneity, settler colonialism, and political theory with the intention of creating at least one new edited volume.
