Project Description

This research will build and execute a research design that will centre the political philosophy of the Blackfoot Confederacy in contradistinction to that of Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux philosophies. The intention is to build a framework for hearing Blackfoot perspectives on topics including relatedness, territoriality, and alliance-making through kinship that are currently intensely studied within Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux scholarship.
